Welcome!
At BookstacksandBarbells, strength is about staying capable for the whole story;
From slow, quiet mornings where the house is still and your book is open, to full demanding days that ask more of you than planned, to seasons that change your body, your energy, and your priorities.
It’s about being a wife and a woman with her own body, goals and inner world.

It’s about honoring who you are now, without shrinking for anyone and without waiting for a future version of your life to begin.
Strength here isn’t tied to motherhood alone. It’s tied to capacity, resilience and presence with whatever your story holds.

I’m a trail runner at heart, chasing quiet miles and strong lungs, and a lover of the ocean, drawn to its rhythm, its power, and the peace it brings. I’m also a Twilight diehard, forever Team Jacob, no apologies.

I know this life first hand because I live it every day. I’m a wife, a stay-at-home mum, and a work-from-home mum, wearing many hats and learning to carry them with grace. I’m the proud mother of two, raising tiny humans while continuing to grow myself.

I am a survivor who is shaped by what I’ve endured, strengthened by what I’ve overcome. I’m a motivator by nature, a fit and athletic mum who believes movement is healing and strength is empowering.
I’m a lifelong book lover and collector, finding comfort, escape, and wisdom in stories that stay with me long after the last page.

Above all else, I am a daughter of Christ. My faith anchors me, guides me, and reminds me who I am when the world feels loud. Every role I hold, every passion I pursue, and every step I take is rooted in that truth.

I’m a certified Nutrition and Fitness Coach, and the founder of BookstacksandBarbells, my 1:1 coaching business built on strength, discipline, and grace.

BookstacksandBarbells was born from two things I deeply love: lifting heavy and reading often. Years ago, I created the Bookstack Challenge, a bicep curl using a heavy stack of books. It was fun, different, and powerful… and it perfectly captured who I am. Strength and knowledge. Body and mind. Barbell and bookstack.

Strength That Fits Real Life

Life doesn’t pause so you can meal prep perfectly or train uninterrupted 100% of the time. Sometimes your workout happens at the crack of dawn, in the late of the evening, between school drop-offs or between homeschooled subjects and your second coffee.
Sometimes dinner is simple, nourishing and eaten standing up.
Sometimes strength looks like rest.

Here, we build bodies that support real life
-
Lifting to stay resilient, not punished
-
Nutrition that fuels motherhood, hormones, and energy, not guilt
-
Movement that works with your season, not against it.
Because strength isn’t just physical; it’s emotional, mental and deeply human.
